Anal Sex The Myth Exposed
Of all sexual acts, anal is the most misunderstood. Despite the fact that one out of every four women has engaged in anal sex, the practice remains taboo.
Many women are reluctant to experiment with anal intercourse because of the many myths and misconceptions that surround the practice.
But once you learn the right techniques, it's easy to see why anal sex can be so enjoyable. The anus contains a vast supply of nerves, and is one of our most sensitive erogenous zones.
Stroking, massaging, and otherwise stimulating the anus can be intensely pleasurable. In fact, some woman are able to orgasm from anal stimulation alone. Here you'll find answers to the most common concerns about anal pleasures.
Myth #1. The anus is dirty. With routine daily hygiene, the anus is as clean as other parts of your body. It does contain its own natural bacteria, though, and to avoid infections, you must never move anything from your anus to your vagina.
Myth #2. Anal sex is painful.Anal intercourse should not be painful. If it hurts, you are doing something wrong. If you learn the proper techniques prior to experimenting, you may find it enjoyable.
The keys to pleasurable anal penetration are relaxation, lubrication and education. The anus is a tube that is one and a half inches long and surrounded by two rings of muscle.
One ring, the external sphincter, is under your control. The other, the internal sphincter, will automatically tighten whenever something is pushed into your anus. Relaxing the external sphincter will make anal intercourse easier and more pleasurable. Your anus does not produce its own natural lubrication, so use lots of water-based lubricants to further increase your pleasure.
Myth #3. Anal sex is harmful and unhealthy.
Many woman fear that anal intercourse will cause hemorrhoids, fissures or tears. Some even fear that they may become incontinent and spend the rest of their lives in adult diapers.
Pleasurable anal sex does not cause harm to your anus or rectum. And as long as your partner does not have a sexually transmitted infection, neither semen nor sperm are harmful to your rectum.
If you are not sure about the sexually transmitted disease status of your partner, use a lubricated latex or polyurethane condom during anal intercourse. Avoid condoms with spermicides -- they may cause irritation of the sensitive anal and rectal tissues.
Myth #4. Anal sex is a perverted, unnatural act.Anal intercourse is an accepted sexual practice for centuries. In some cultures, women engage in anal intercourse with their male partners for sexual pleasure while protecting their virginity.
You must decide for yourself what feels natural. If you are uncomfortable with any sexual act, don't do it! You are in charge of what you do sexually.
Myth #5. Anal penetration is enjoyed only by homosexuals.Long considered a purely homosexual act, anal intercourse is enjoyed by many heterosexual couples as well. Anal sex is simply another option for sexual gratification and is unrelated to your sexual identity.
Sex Toys For The Males Anus.
Know your anatomy. To better understand anal sex, you need to understand the anatomy of your anus and rectum. With a mirror, and a good light source, take a look at your anus. As you spread your buttocks, you will notice the opening to your anus.
Though it appears small and tight, it is capable of stretching enough to accommodate a finger, toy or any size Penis. You will notice that the skin surrounding your anus is dark and wrinkled, and contains hair, sweat and oil-secreting glands.
The tube-like anus contains numerous nerves and is exquisitely sensitive to touch and stretching. At the top of the anus is the rectum. The 5" rectum isn't straight, makes several turns. Because the tissue inside rectum is delicate, sharp objects, rough force can easily damage it. Not as sensitive as the anus, women enjoy the feeling of "fullness" that is created during anal play.

The original anal sex toy was the butt plug. This is a rubber toy with a shape that starts out thin and gets fatter as you move from the top down. The original butt plug was made of rubber, but now you can find them made from all types of material from silicone to glass to metal.
They also come in all sizes from small and thing, to giant huge butt plugs. Butt Plugs now also come with vibration and some of the most popular ones are inflatable. Since the early days of the butt plug,
Many new anal adult products have been created in all shapes and sizes. One popular shape is the realistic dildo made to be a little thinner than the usual dildo so that it is easier to insert into the ass.
Another toy called the dual penetrator has both a dildo and an anal dildo facing in the same direction so that a woman can insert both at the same time and get the sensation of double penetration into her vagina and anus. And of course, all of these items usually have an option to buy one that vibrates.
One of the other most popular anal sex toys are anal beads (sometimes also referred to as climax beads). These are a series of beads attached to each other usually by a string.
They are usually used by inserting the beads into the ass.
Then during orgasm pull the beads out one by one for intense orgasmic sensations. There are all types of anal beads in all shapes and sizes and there are even vibrating beads available.
Finally, one other issue that is common with ass play are the use of lubricants. Thera are many lotions designed specifically for the anus. And some anal desensitizing lubes are designed to not only lubricate, but also to desensitize the area.

Go Ahead And Masturbate. It's O.K.
Everyone wants to know about masturbation.
Is it OK? Will it cause health problems? Am I the only one doing it?
Here's your answer: Masturbation is totally normal, is not bad for you, and can actually have certain health benefits.
Masturbation can be defined as self-stimulation to cause sexual sensations. The use of the word masturbation usually suggests that the person is manipulating his or her genitals to the point of intense pleasure or orgasm.
(Orgasm refers to a period of intense excitement in which genital muscles enter in to a series of highly pleasurable contractions or movements.)
While masturbation can involve another person, most of us think of it as a very private act. According to some health care providers masturbation allows a healthy way to express and explore your sexuality and to release sexual tension without all the associated risks of sexual intercourse.
Health professionals generally agree that this private touching is a natural, normal mode of self-exploration and sexual expression. Unfortunately, after the excitement of the moment has passed, many people find themselves filled with guilty and or shame.
How many times per week should the average male masturbate in order to ensure proper sexual development?
Is masturbation a sign of desperation? Is it true that your testicles reduce in size if you masturbate a lot?
Don't believe the myths you may hear about blindness Hairy palms, desperation, insanity, etc. Think about it this way: Most people masturbate, and most of us are perfectly healthy.
Once again, most people masturbate throughout their lives, single or not, male or female -- it's completely normal. Some people masturbate alone and some masturbate with a partner, which can be a useful way to see what your partner enjoys.
What about masturbating too much? Many people wonder if they masturbate too often. There is no specific answer to the question how much is too much. It's OK to masturbate as often or as little as you like so long as it doesn't interfere with the rest of your life.
Now, what about those health benefits we mentioned earlier?
Masturbation can reduce stress, release sexual tension, help with menstrual cramps, help relax someone for sleeping, actually boost the immune system, release mood-elevating hormones, reduce the frequency of spontaneous erections for teenage boys, and reduce the number of unwanted wet dreams.
And the best part? Masturbation is a risk-free form of sex play. When masturbating alone, you are at no risk for pregnancy or STIs. Masturbation can also help you learn about your body and what you enjoy, which can help you communicate with your partner about what you want.

Who's Responsible for the misconceptions about masturbationg?
A little bit of American history:
Our attitudes about masturbation have deep roots for sure. Around the turn-of-the-century, some adults were so against masturbation that they forced their daughters to wear gloves made of a steel-wool-like material (like Brillo pads) at night and to put a powder on their genitals that made them painful to touch.
They made their sons wear metal chastity belts at night that made it painful to have an erection. During the 1820s, some parents prevented male masturbation by piercing the foreskin with a wire and soldering the ends together. Boys and girls were discouraged from masturbating by the threat of blindness, madness and illness. Of course, none of these masturbation-induced maladies proved true.
The subject of masturbation was taboo years before the United States was created. All kinds of chastity belts and other devices were used to prevent masturbation, probably as far back in history as you can go. This will vary from culture to culture.
The Truth?
Most surveys suggest that approximately 94% of teenage males "admitted" that they masturbated and about 70% of teen females "admitted" to this also. It’s always hard to establish absolute truth in any survey on sexuality and sexual behavior, since they are influenced so much by what people think is "normal".
It is important to note the word "admitted" in the results of these surveys. Doesn't that word imply something shameful about the act of masturbating? We think so.
This leads us to believe that we are still suffering from the residual Victorian morals when boys and girls were discouraged from masturbating.
In the 1970s and 1980s, a woman named Betty Dodson, Ph.D., achieved much fame from her approach to masturbation. She actually held classes for women to teach them how to masturbate. Dodson believed women needed to overcome certain degrees of repression instilled by the church.
She taught women to "celebrate their bodies. She thought masturbation should celebrated, rather than induce guilt. Dodson made the point that masturbation needed to be celebrated, and not allowed to create guilt. Dodson admitted that overcoming guilt was very difficultfor men and women.
Especially when the guilt was instilled by the voice of their mothers at an early age. Mothers told children not to touch themselves down there and shame on the family whose child did so in public.
For many people the consequence of our mothers' or fathers' difficulty with our innocent sexuality when we were toddlers and infants may be the reason that the experience and enjoyment of our own bodies is taken away from us.
In 1994 Dr. Jocelyn Eldersthe second woman appointed to the position of U.S. Surgeon General lost her job as Surgeon General because she dared to say that masturbation should actually be taught in schools. We think her mistake was when she said, "It's practicing for sex.

Orgasms Are Healthy
Orgasms Are Healthy for both men and woman. When a climax is reached certain chemicals such as serotonin and epinephrine are released into the bloodstream. Orgasms also help circulate the blood, move nutrients to the organs, ease tensions, and tend to increase overall feelings of hope and joy.
Orgasm is the sudden discharge of accumulated sexual tension resulting in rhythmic muscular contractions in the pelvic region that produce intensely pleasurable sensations followed by rapid relaxation.
Orgasm is also in part a psychological experience of pleasure and abandon, when the mind is focused solely on the personal experience. It is sometimes called climaxing or cumming.
Masters and Johnson's
In Masters and Johnson's original research of the human sexual response cycle, orgasm is the third of four stages, occurring after the plateau phase and before the resolution phase.
Another widely accepted model of the sexual response cycle, developed by Helen Singer Kaplan, M.D., PhD., involves just three stages: desire, excitement and orgasm.
Orgasms vary from person to person and for each individual at different times.
Sometimes an orgasm is explosive
An amazing rush of sensations, while others are milder, subtler, and less intense. The differences in intensity of orgasms can be attributed to physical factors, such as fatigue and length of time since last orgasm, as well as to a wide range of psychosocial factors, including mood, relation to partner, activity, expectations, and feelings about the experience.
Orgasm: A Total Body Response
There are several physiological components of orgasm. First, orgasm is a total body response, not just a pelvic event. Brain wave patterns have shown distinct changes during orgasm, and muscles in many different areas of the body contract during this phase of sexual response.
Some people experience the involuntary contraction of facial muscles resulting in what looks like a grimace or an expression of discomfort or displeasure, but it is actually an indication of high sexual arousal.
Sensation
The characteristic physical feature of orgasm is the sensation produced by the simultaneous rhythmic contractions of the pubococcygeus muscle (pc muscle).
Along with contractions of the anal sphincter, rectum and perineum, the uterus and outer third of the vagina (the orgasmic platform) for women, and the ejaculatory ducts and muscles around the Penis for men, this constitutes the reflex of orgasm.
The first few contractions are intense and close together, occurring at about 0.8-second intervals. As orgasm continues, the contractions diminish in intensity and duration and occur at less frequent intervals.
Orgasm Differences Between Men and Women
Despite the anatomical differences between male and female genitals, orgasms in men and woman are physiologically and psychologically, or subjectively, very similar.
In fact, studies have been done in which "experts" could not reliably determine gender when reading descriptions of orgasms with all anatomical references removed.
Some Woman describe the sensation
Women have described the sensations of orgasm as beginning with a sense of suspension, quickly followed by an intensely pleasurable feeling that usually begins at the clitoris and spreads throughout the pelvis.
The genitals are often described as becoming warm, electric or tingly, and these physical sensations usually spread through some portion of the body. Most women also feel muscle contractions in their vagina or lower pelvis, often described as "pelvic throbbing".
Some Men's Description
The subjective feeling of orgasm in men has been described quite consistently as beginning with the sensation of deep warmth or pressure that corresponds to ejaculatory inevitability, the point when ejaculation cannot be stopped. It is then felt as sharp, intensely pleasurable contractions involving the pc muscles, anal sphincter, rectum, perineum and genitals. Some men describe this part as a sensation of pumping.
Orgasm and Ejaculation are not one in the same event.Typically occuring together, a man may have an orgasm without ejaculating.
A major difference between the female and the male orgasmic phase is that far more women than men have the physical capability to have one or more additional orgasms within a short time without dropping below the plateau of sexual arousal.
Multi-Orgasmic
Being multi-orgasmic depends on both continued stimulation and sexual interest. Because neither of these is present every time for most women, multiple orgasms do not occur with every sexual encounter.
On the other hand, upon ejaculation, men enter a recovery phase called the refractory period. During this time, further orgasm or ejaculation is physiologically impossible. However, some men learn to have an orgasm without ejaculating, thereby making it possible to experience multiple orgasms.

How sex helps your health
Sex fights illness
Scientific research is starting to show that regular sex appears to help to stave off the threat of illness and what’s more, it could even help people to live longer, scientists studied around 2400 men in Wales, over a 10-year period, it discovered those who had more orgasms were 50% less likely to have died.
This lowering of risk was particularly marked when it came to heart attacks, leading scientists to endorse the idea that sex can be excellent exercise.
Another way in which sex shows its disease-fighting qualities is in the role it appears to have in protecting against . Studies show that frequent ejaculations reduce the risk of prostate cancer, which affects around 20,000 men in Britain every year.
